Description
House in Pueblo Mío — Punta del Este
Located on an elevated plot with privileged views of the lake, this house was designed for a European client of German origin, who fully trusted our studio to carry out the entire construction process remotely, without the need to travel during the project.
The commission came through MMAS Arquitectas, responsible for the design and final documentation. We were entrusted with the technical direction and complete execution of the project, in a fluid, precise, and high-standard collaborative process.
The project, developed on a single floor with a U-shaped layout, features three bedrooms and a strong connection between the interior spaces and the landscape. Special attention was paid to the construction details, highlighting the use of natural wood in cladding and carpentry, and exposed concrete as the main structural and aesthetic feature.
It was a very special project for the studio, not only because of the quality of the design and materials, but also because it represents a model of remote management and complete trust, validated by the client and increasingly sought after by foreigners looking to build in Uruguay without complications.
Construction time: 7 months.
