Single-Family Home in a Private Neighborhood — Punta del Este
Located in a privileged natural setting, this home was designed for an American client seeking a contemporary, functional residence in close harmony with the landscape.
From the outset, the project was based on a clear premise: to maximize the site's elevated topography to capture the best views and make them a central element of the design.
The strategy adopted an unconventional typology, where the private spaces are efficiently organized, while the social spaces take center stage: spacious, bright, and connected to the natural environment.
The result is a compact, sober, and reserved house, in which natural light and views are integrated as an active part of the architectural experience. The predominant structural gesture is a tall reinforced concrete slab, which powerfully defines the spatiality and brings character and solidity to the complex.
