Single-Family Home in a Private Neighborhood — Punta del Este
Located in a private neighborhood in Punta del Este, this home was designed for a client close to the studio, with whom we shared a clear vision: to maximize the natural height of the lot and optimize every square meter to achieve a four-bedroom home that is efficient, bright, and connected to its surroundings.
The proposal adopts an unconventional typology, where the private spaces are reduced to their proper scale, and the common spaces are amplified and take center stage due to their luminosity, openness, and spatial quality.
The result is a compact, private, and light-filled house, in which the central structural element—a reinforced concrete slab without intermediate supports—strongly defines the space and brings character and architectural coherence to the whole.
