Single-Family Home in El Chorro — Manantiales, Uruguay
Residential project located in El Chorro, Manantiales, one of the most desirable areas on the Uruguayan coast. The three-bedroom plus maid's quarters is distributed over two distinct levels: the private area on the upper floor, and the social spaces on the ground floor, conceived using an open-plan layout with no floor-to-ceiling walls.
The central concept of the project was to foster fluid communication between spaces, both visually and functionally. This strategy allows for an open relationship between interior and exterior, generating a dynamic and contemporary user experience.
The design incorporates multiple terraces and exterior extensions, which not only multiply the home's use opportunities but also provide spatial quality, natural light, and a variety of pathways.
The result is a light, open, and highly functional home that responds precisely to the natural environment and coastal lifestyle. A carefully executed project that reflects our studio's experience developing high-end housing on Uruguay's east coast.
